Education
Teresa Coleman, CFP® is a graduate of UC Berkeley, and has worked in the financial services industry since 1989.
Teresa is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant.
The CFP® mark identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
Experience
Teresa had been a partner at Creekside since 2014. Prior to joining Creekside she had been with Charles Schwab since 2007 as a Relationship Manager to independent advisory firms like Creekside. She has a unique and thorough understanding of how independent advisory firms can best serve their clients.Prior to working at Schwab, Teresa was the Senior Client Services Manager at Fidelity Investments where she worked on the retirement plans for Microsoft and The Walt Disney Company. As a Vice President and Senior Client Service Officer at Mellon Bank, her key clients were Hewlett Packard and Canadian National Railway. In her prior role at State Street Bank, she was Vice President and Unit Head in both the Trust and Record-keeping divisions working on both Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans.
Accomplishments and Membership
Teresa was awarded the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2009. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and a past co-chair of a committee for the San Francisco Financial Women’s Association.
Michael Gorman, CFP®
Education
Michael J. Gorman received his B.A. from Boston University. He received a graduate certificate in personal financial planning, awarded with distinction, from the University of California, Berkeley.

Experience
Mike founded and ran a successful business in San Francisco for sixteen years and was president of several small business and trade associations. He joined Wiiken & Gorman in March 1999. In January 2015 Wilken and Gorman joined forces with Creekside Partners.
Mike is an Investment Adviser Representative registered with the SEC. He is licensed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and is a full member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
Accomplishments and Memberships
Mike occasionally teaches classes on investing at the Santa Rosa Junior College. Mike has served on the Board of Directors of the Sonoma County Public Library Foundation and was Treasurer and chair of the investment committee. He is former President of the Board of Directors of the Petaluma Arts Center. He has been married for over 40 years and has two grown sons and four grandchildren. Mike is an avid golfer, an artist and enjoys outdoor activities and reading.
Andy Hempeck, CFP®
Education
Andy is a graduate of Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science degree and a concentration in Finance. Andy also attended graduate school at Golden Gate University, San Francisco and has successfully completed the Certificate program in Financial Planning from UCLA’s extension program.

Career
Andy has over 25 years of investment industry experience. Prior to starting Creekside in 2007, Andy served as Vice-President at Fisher Investments where he focused on research, client relationship management and portfolio management. Andy was directly involved in the portfolio construction of over 700 million dollars for private clients and foundations. During his nine-year tenure at Fisher, he was a part of the team that grew the firm’s assets from 2 Billion of assets under management to over 43 Billion.
His career began in the early nineties as a registered representative at a boutique brokerage firm in Seattle, Washington. He later worked for the Bank of San Francisco where he managed the trading department. In that capacity, he advised many C-level executives from Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Home Depot and Schlumberger on trading and financial planning strategies for their individual employee stock option plans.

- Andy sits on the Citizens Oversight Committee for the H1 Bond in Piedmont California
- Andy has also attained the Eagle Scout award within the Boy Scouts of America.
- He is a member of the Financial Planning Association. (FPA)
- Andy sits on the Financial Advisory board of Vincent Academy in Oakland California
- He has expertise with Non-qualified employee stock options, Incentive stock options, and restricted stock.
